# Only one proof of dolphin acumen

At the Institute of Marine Mammal Research (Mississippi), scientists have taught dolphins to exchange for fish any trash that fell into the pool. So the animals helped keep the pool clean. Dolphin Kelly began to use this system for their own purposes. Realizing that for any piece of paper, regardless of its size, she gets the same amount of fish, she began to hide the paper under the rock and tear off small pieces from it in exchange for fish.

At this, Kelly did not stop. Once she caught a seagull, flown into the pool, and got a lot of fish for it - the seagull was big. Then Kelly stopped eating all the fish right away and began to make supplies with which she lured new gulls. And then she taught the rest of the dolphins this trick, and all of them, too, began to hunt gulls.
