In China, launched a bus that drives over cars
If you even occasionally look aimlessly at your social media feeds, you have often seen a video about a new format of urban public transport that was invented in China. The bus, which must travel on ground rails, passing cars on the roadway directly below him. Like all beautiful and futuristic, such a transport seemed like a pipe dream, another idea that never came true.
The Chinese have proved that we were wrong.
According to the Chinese information portal Xinhua, Transit Elevated Bus (TEB) is no longer just a real technological concept. This bus with inflated bottom has already made its first flight in the city of Qinhuangdao.
To move the bus uses an electric current. Its length is 23 meters, width - 7.5. Two rows of cars quietly fit under his iron belly, and there is enough space in the cabin for 300 passengers. The average speed of the bus is 64 km / h.
While this is a test version of the TEB, it is not intended for mass use.
